The Knights of Columbus will be having a mass on Memorial Day, May 31st, at 9:30 AM, at the Grotto of the Blessed Mother in the Hillcrest Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.

Theology on Tap is a great opportunity for anyone (21 and over) to meet in a relaxed setting to discuss Catholicism and Theology. Enjoy a beer and enjoy great discussions. Atheist? Catholic? Protestant? All are welcome! Enjoy a drink, good company, and great discussion. This is the good life!

This month, we are privileged to have Jim Burnham, noted apologetics author, in as our guest speaker. Mr. Burnham will be fielding questions and criticisms regarding Catholic Doctrines from local protestant churches. Please come and enjoy this great event!

This event will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall (200 Apache Circle, next to the Pepsi Plant)on May 18th, 2010, at 8 PM. There is road construction going on, so please come in the back entrance to our property at the end of Strong Dr, behind the hall. Also, please help us spread the word!

This months speaker is Father Mathew Keller, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Gallup, and Chancellor to Bishop Wall.

This months topic, appropriate for November, will be an All Saints and All Souls pre-view on the “4 Last Things”; namely DEATH, JUDGMENT, HELL and HEAVEN (with maybe some tertiary discussion on “Purgatory and Indulgences”).

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting their first of monthy Theology on Tap nights this Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, starting at 8:15T. heology on Tap is a great opportunity for Catholic’s 21 and over to meet in a comfortable setting to explore our faith and how it affects our lives. Enjoy a beer and enjoy great Theological discussions.

This months speaker is Father Mathew Keller, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Gallup, and Chancellor to Bishop Wall. He will be addressing the subject of the proper use (and our tendency to mis-use) of the gift of speech. He will be defining cursing, swearing, profanity, blasphemy, taking the Lord’s name in vain.etc. And he will further be discussing the ways we can reign in our speech in a way the will better our lives and our souls.
